PU2 and M2C

PU2 and M2C are specially developed pastes for the anti-drumming of thicker metal surfaces. In combination with the Counter plate, the paste is applied to the surface to effectively reduce construction noise. PU2 is our 2-component anti-drumming paste, while the M2C is a 1-component version. The Counter plate is available in a perforated version as well as in a closed plate.

The product is often used in yachting, ship, and coachbuilding, for bulkheads, walls and ceilings, and many other applications.

PU2

A specially developed product to reduce vibrations and the resulting radiated sound level. The combination of this 2-component paste with a counter plate is used worldwide to reduce construction noise. PU2 is a 2-component anti-drumming compound (component A: light beige paste and component B: dark brown liquid) based on polyurethane. According to VDI guideline 3727, this paste can be used well for anti-drumming of steel and aluminum constructions thicker than 3 mm. The product is also corrosion-resistant and can also be used as an adhesive.

The product is often used in yachting, shipbuilding, and coachbuilding, for bulkheads, walls and ceilings, and many other applications.
